After a long successful day of linux installations on most of my compute rigs, it's finally over. I've noticed substancial performance gains using the same hardware and far less power to do the same amount of work. This new 9.18 app has negatively impacted performance up to 30% as well as the already 10% loss with WDDM. Linux runs still on the 9.14 app so it's substantially faster. I would love an explanation as to why 9.18 is the way it is, MJH do you think you could weigh in on this?

If anyone has any questions on how to get linux up and running I can certainly help. For example if you have a 1080ti and you want to install the drivers the easier way you'll need to put in an older card and find it in Software & Updates and go to the Additional Drivers Tab, then put the 1080ti back in and everything should work.
