Dear GDF!

Since month one of my machines was running GPUGrid-Apps.

Since weeks I get permanent "Computation Errors".
.. i upgraded manually .. after a long search via WEB
.. and soon again I got these Comp.Errors.
.. so finally I just suspended BOINC ..
.. today (after more than one month I tried again)

Please don't get me wrong, but is there any way to keep the GPUgrid crunching UP without permanent manual maintenance .. and if that is a must .. is there any way to prepare the needed information in a way any user can find that in an easy way ...

Maybe I am too stupid to manage that .. then please tell me .. but ..

each of the "crunchers" is investing a LOT OF MONEY in crunching for you ..
.. in my case (just 9800GT) the permanent additional!!! 150 Watts on just one machine .. equals 150W x 24 Hrs/day x 365 days/year x 0,15 c/kW/h

= 197,10 Euro/Year !!!!! (just one average machine a year)

That's really a lot of money!! (At least for me)

So I expect at least easy to find information how to keep that up and running.

Thanks for your numerous answers, which clearly document you deep understanding of my question and related background.

This also shows your interest in more general issues and questions of your users/supporters related to the Project.

Due to this fact I finally uninstalled BOINC on all of my machines (after all the time I spent and money I donated) and left all related projects!

Furthermore I hope, that lots of other users/supporters of these "well supported projects" will read this, feel alike and so follow my example - at least when they decide to recalculate their real costs (= real money!!) and additional efforts ...
... and so the project-owners will get the chance to learn how to treat supporters.

In your calculation, don't forget to deduce how much you are using your computer not for BOINC. (ie opportunity price)

Anyway, you may know that admins are already quite busy, and they are not supporting this project for money.
So I really thanks them for what they have done (And what they will do ^^)

But, I got Ubuntu 9.04 64b on my machine, I got a problem too with my GTX260

I got the following error (What about you ms113 ? Please give a bit more information)
