My gtx570 is showing 99.5% done but 52 hours has elapsed. Should I abort this task? This system runs boinc 24/7 and is not used for anything else. quad core with 3 cpus assigned. Other long runs all seem to to fit into the 12 hour range as shown here

This seems to be off indeed. Maybe due to a GPU downclock.

My GTX570's only take about 4.5 hrs on a NATHAN_CB, but they are factory overclocked running on Win7. Even without that, I wouldn't think they should take more than 5 or 6 hours in any case on the GTX570. I would guess something is wrong or hung up.

Something very wrong is in your system. If it was downclocked to 2D, NATHAN_CB1 tasks should take about 9 - 10 hours.

Something strange is going on. I rebooted this system and all the times changed

The drivers can also downclock the GPU, if it's too warm or too many amps are being used... I think this is happening rather than TThrottle kicking in at 90degC. You can use GPU-Z to see what the GPU clocks are at and use one of several tools to increase fan speed. For the task to be taking that long it would need to have downclocked right down to ~100MHz, which it can do.

Try upgrading to the current BOINC (7.0.14 as I write this) seeing as you are running an alpha version.
