	Hi, A few days ago there is no way to achieve short task for LINUX, Windows no problem. Is there a reason for this difference of platforms. Greetings.

	The tasks aren't apportioned by platform, only by queue - since there are Short WUs available, you should be getting them. Do you get Long or Beta WUs? MJH

	There does not appear to be an application for Linux under short tasks, only windows. http://www.gpugrid.net/apps.php Jim

In Linux (Ubuntu 13.10) work release and long tasks without problem, but try and ask short tasks and does not download any, Boinc reports no short tasks available ...? There does not appear to be an application for Linux under short tasks, only windows Well, it seems as your link, Linux is not scheduled to receive short tasks do not understand why.

	As James said, there are no short run apps for Linux - I have not been able to get any short WU's for several days. However, as well as the Long Run tasks, there are Beta tasks (which so far are predominantly of the short length variety). ____________ FAQ's HOW TO: - Opt out of Beta Tests - Ask for Help

It is possible that the Beta I'm processing task (102-MJHARVEY_CRASHNPT-7-25-RND3270_0) is an attempt to process multi-threaded CPU?
