The Boinc FAQ service suggests that,
"The task was ended when the client was exited".
I might have removed the Video cable around that time but Boinc is still running.

not sure where you got all this data from, but a GIANNI was failing for me too this minute with Computation Error, Ubuntu 12.04.4, patched boinc client that was suggest in another thread here, NVIDIA driver 334.21
