Is there somewhere I can download windows xp 64 bit for free? I want to utilize my hardware more, and can someone explain to me SWAN_SYNC and where to change it? I doubt that microsoft will make it free. Anyway the newer NV drivers are not being made compatible with xp. A better choice might be Linux. Skgiven has a very nice thread on installing Linux for GPUGrid. I keep meaning to get around to trying it, but so far haven't: https://gpugrid.net/forum_thread.php?id=4305

Is there somewhere I can download windows xp 64 bit for free? A quick google search gave me some results, but I would not trust any modified CD image files. Every original MS Windows XP install CD image file has 0xFFFFFFFF CRC value. Image files which have an extra "*.nfo" file containing release group info, and/or product key usually have other modified files also (trojans, backdoors, viruses). I want to utilize my hardware more, and can someone explain to me SWAN_SYNC and where to change it? To apply the swan_sync environmental value: Click Start, copy & paste systempropertiesadvanced and press [enter]. Click on [Environmental Variables] Look for the lower section called "System Variables", click on the [New] button below the list of System Variables. Type swan_sync in the name field Type 1 in the Value field Click [OK] 3 times. Exit BOINC manager with stopping scientific applications. Start BOINC manager.

I have a dell OEM windows XP iso disk that I can upload. You'll have to install the latest service pack though because it comes with service pack 1.
