Does anyone know if there are any differences between putting Xp 32 bit vs 64 bit on a USB from an .iso file? Rufus doesn't work because it says it uses a different form of compression. Zoltan, how did you manage it? Every .iso to USB software either comes up with the same error or it doesn't boot.

I've installed mine from a SATA DVD drive. You could also install from a USB DVD drive.
If you can set the USB drive emulation type in the BIOS, try to set it to DVD/CD, and copy the contents of the ISO file to the pendrive.

Tried burning it to a CD drive and it gets to the setup and loads all the drivers then crashes once it tries to load the OS every single time.

It's because Windows XP does not have native AHCI support. You have to integrate your motherboard's driver into the installer with nvlite (or disable AHCI mode for your SATA controllers, but then they will work slower).

Zoltan, I need some help with win xp. I installed it and managed to download .net 2.0 and boinc, but I can't get the nvidia driver to install. What did you do? I also noticed you have windows 10 drivers, 368.22. How did you make this work?

You have to "hack" the latest driver for Windows XP (x64) & GTX 960.

I followed the instructions and changed the section to copy the one in my inf file. My inf file is called nv_dispi.inf not nv4_dispi.inf like the guide. I am trying to install 362.22 or 359.06. Before the installer runs it extracts and wipes any file changes I made, I believe? Same error as before I changed the file. The modified date on the new inf file is the original date.

Also, the driver is slightly different, your filepath says C:\NVIDIA\DisplayDriver\355.82\WinXP\English\Display.Driver\nv4_dispi.inf" While mine is "C:\NVIDIA\DisplayDriver\359.06\Win10_64\International\Display.Driver\nv_dispi.inf" I cannot find the exact driver you have, do you have a download link? Do you think this is the problem?

I manually installed the driver using device manager by updating drivers, clicking no to the hardware wizard, install from a list or specific location (Advanced), Don't search I will choose the driver, clicking the have disk button, and finding the filepath to the nv4_dispi.inf. After 5 long minutes mission success.
